Fine crafted Elevated Dining Tables

Square - Single Bowl Mahogany with Ash inlay paw

Adjustable table legs with floor levelers and pads. Our tables legs start at 2" and go up to 24" (not including floor levelers and pads with adds approximately 3/4".  Not all small dogs can eat comfortable from 4" high table. They may require 2" or 6 " legs. Not all medium dogs can eat from a 12"  high table.  They may require 8" or 10" legs. Buying an elevated feed station that cannot accommodate you pet 100% is useless and a waste of you money.

We utilize only solid hardwoods such as black walnut, hard maple, cherry, ash and African mahogany. The tables tops are approximately 1 1/2" thick. 6 X 13 Wood Working does not use pine, plywood or pallets to make the Paw Bar. 6 X 13 Wood working does not utilize stains or varnishes, since they are not food safe.  Our products are coated in the highest quality natural finish, Rubio Monocoat.  Rubio Monocoat does offer finishes in various colors, they are however food safe.  Which is often used in  counter tops. Rubio Monocoat is food safe, and pet friendly. The finish is also water resistant, so water will not harm the product. That being said, standing water that is left on the top for an excessive amount of time has the chance to cause a water spot. The water spot is only on the finish and will not harm the wood itself.

Most importantly, the one feature that 6 X 13 Wood Working offers on the Paw Bar are the adjustable heights leg and floor levelers with pads.  Here's why, let say that using the information below in calculating the height of the table for your dog something goes wrong with the math or what ever.  Just send us those legs (yes, only the legs) and we ship new new legs. Just tell us short or taller. The is no additional cost to for new legs.  You pay to ship to us and we pay to ship back to you. Simple!

Determining Bowl Height - If your vet recommends an elevated feeder, you'll need to figure out how high to make it. There's an easy formula, but it only gets you an approximate height. If you don't mind the extra cost, get an adjustable product so you can tweak it to get it just right; otherwise, pick a feeder that's slightly lower than your estimate, as this is better than ending up with one that's a little too tall. Measure the height of your dog's withers -- the top of her shoulders -- on her front legs. Reduce that number by 7 inches and that's your estimate for how high the elevated dog bowl should be. It should come to the bottom of her chest and she should be able to clean it out without stretching, squatting, bending her legs, straining or weirdly positioning herself.

As a personal touch, each Paw Bar table features an inlaid accent Paw. This Paw mortise is hand created using a router, then trimmed and inlaid by hand also. This is our stamp of both style and quality as an original by 6X13 Woodworking. We hope that this feature will create the same warm feeling for you that it has created for us while making it.
